FPGA verification with Active HDL
A good verification process reduces debugging iterations in the development flow, saving time and money for customers. Especially in Europe there are many classic FPGA projects (Efinix, Intel, Lattice, Microchip, Xilinx) whose designs are based on VHDL. VHDL 2019
VHDL is still the preferred hardware description language for complex FPGA projects in Europe. With VHDL-2019, the language has evolved into an extremely powerful verification language thanks to the efforts of the entire VHDL user community. Unlike other VHDL revisions, VHDL-2019 was requested by users, reviewed, developed, and adopted by the VHDL community. With the current Riviera and Active HDL versions, the possibilities of VHDL-2019 can be fully exploited.
Time-saving, hardware-assisted verification for ASIC/SoC designs
Identifying effective processes for functional verification of ASIC and SoC designs is of increasing importance to engineers due to the increasing complexity of designs and the integration of embedded components such as CPUs, GPUs and software device drivers. The total testing time for these systems can span millions or even billions of test cycles to fully verify the functionality of an average ASIC design.

RTCA/DO-254 is a means of compliance for the development of airborne electronic hardware containing FPGAs, PLDs and ASICs. Since registers are important for a lot of tasks like HDL implementation, SW implementation, HW- and SW test and documentation it is extrem important to make sure that the key data like address definitions and register types are consistent in all models. It often turns out that inconsistencies end in long troubleshooting or even errors that are discovered late find their way into the first real chip.

TO3004 Smart Tablet Oscilloscope
The TO3004 is an oscilloscope from the Miscig TO series, an innovative oscilloscope series that can be operated purely by touch. An adapted version of Android is used as the operating system, which means that the device has a high level of system compatibility. In combination with battery operation and the touchscreen, the TO3004 oscilloscope is ideal for mobile use as well as for use as a desktop oscilloscope. The TO3004 features a sample rate of up to 220 Mpts memory depth, 4 channels, 300 MHz bandwidth and 2 GSa/s sample rate.

We will also be showing Passmark’s Power Delivery Tester at Embedded World 2023. It is ideal for troubleshooting USB ports and USB chargers. You can check the power capability of USB ports, USB chargers and USB power banks. Test whether your USB host is capable of delivering the specified maximum power without errors, the exact power consumption and whether the voltage values remain within specification under heavy load. The PM125 also offers testing for the Quickcharge specification, including QC1, QC2, QC3, QC4 and QC4+.
USB 3.0/2.0 Loopback-Adapter
These test plugs are unique! You do not need an external power supply or a connection to another port on a PC. Each connector has its own serial number stored in the EPROM on the connector, allowing them to be individually identified when multiple connectors are connected. Each connector also contains its own CPU and runs its own firmware. The loopback connector is also compatible with USB Type C.
