TySOM ™ is a family of embedded system prototyping boards. Depending on the board, one of three FPGAs forms the core: a Xilinx Zynq® UltraScale+™, a Xilinx Zynq-7000 or a Microchip PolarFire SoC. The boards are compatible with the wide range of daughter cards from Aldec via industry-standard interfaces (FMC or BPX). This makes the TySOM Embedded Prototyping Boards from Aldec ideal for the rapid development of applications that include automotive (and especially ADAS), artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), embedded vision, embedded HPC (including edge processing), Include IoT, IIoT, and industrial automation.
Xilinx Zynq® UltraScale+™ MPSOC Boards
TySOM-3A-ZU19EG is a compact SoC prototyping board featuring Zynq® UltraScale+™ MPSoC device which provides 64-bit processor scalability while combining real-time control with soft and hard engines for SoC prototyping solution, IP verification, graphics, video, packet processing and early software development.
TySOM-3-ZU7 is a compact prototyping board containing Zynq® UltraScale+™ MPSoC device which provides 64-bit processor scalability while combining real-time control with soft and hard engines for graphics, video, waveform, and packet processing.
Xilinx Zynq 7000 Boards
TySOM-2-7Z100 is a compact prototyping board containing a Zynq-7000 module. It is designed to assure maximum flexibility in selecting peripherals due to leveraging a large Zynq chip package and providing two FMC-HPC connectors enabling the use of expansion daughter cards. Standard peripherals like DDR3 RAM, USB and HDMI required by ARM CPU subsystem are contained in that board.
TySOM-2A is a compact prototyping board similar to TySOM-2 but featuring a smaller Zynq-7000 module and providing one FMC-HPC connector. Such design assures flexibility in selecting peripherals while providing cost optimized and smaller form factor board well suited for many embedded designs and applications.
TySOM-1-7Z030 is a compact prototyping board containing the mid-size Xilinx Zynq-7000 All Programmable FPGA with dual-core ARM Cortex A9 and a rich selection of peripherals to make a complete and universal physical prototyping platform for a broad range of embedded designs and IoT applications.
TySOM-1A-7Z010 is a compact board containing Xilinx Zynq-XC7Z010 All Programmable device with dual-core ARM Cortex A9 and a selection of peripherals to provide a complete prototyping platform for embedded system designs and IoT applications.
Microchip PolarFire SoC
TySOM-M-MPFS250 is a compact SoC prototyping board featuring Microchip PolarFire SoC MPFS250T-FCG1152 device which features a five core Linux capable processor subsystem based on the RISC-V. That makes it the right choice for a mid-range, embedded compute platform that inherits all the benefits of the PolarFire FPGA product family.
