Forstinning (Germany), November 22, 2019 -eVision Systems GmbH, authorized Prodigy Technovations distributor for Europe has announced the PGY-I3C-EX-PD I3C Exerciser and Protocol Analyzer. It combines I3C traffic generation and protocol analysis in one device and is the most technologically advanced I3C measurement device that developers can use to test their designs against technical specifications. The PGY-I3C-EX-ED can generate I3C traffic including error injections, decode I3C protocol packets and be configured as a master/slave, among other features.
The PGY-I3C-EX-PD software’s multi-domain view provides a complete overview of I3C protocol activity in a single user interface When Exerciser and Analyzer are used together, developers can create I3C / I2C traffic at the script level or through the graphical user interface, and monitor and analyze the results of all tests. Analyzer can be used to configure different trigger conditions to capture specific protocol activity and decode the communication between master and slave. The decoded results are displayed in the timing diagram and in the protocol window with an autocorrelation. Thereby the state machine view allows the transition of the state machine between master and slave and thus an easy validation of the design. This clear display of information makes it the industry’s best and most user-friendly solution for debugging I3C designs.
